This Privacy Policy describes how Dons Systems ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the FACTUM application and website. By using FACTUM, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Name and email address provided during registration
- Authentication credentials (managed securely via Supabase)
- Subscription status and billing history (managed via RevenueCat)
Goal and Mission Data
- Goals and objectives you set within the app
- Mission records, check-in history, and strike logs
- Coach assignments and interaction history
- Compliance scores and performance metrics
Evidence Submitted
- Photos and screenshots uploaded as proof of mission completion
- Audio recordings submitted for mission verification
- Timestamps and metadata associated with submitted evidence
Usage Data and Analytics
- App usage patterns, session duration, and feature interactions
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- Crash reports and performance diagnostics
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your FACTUM account
- To provide personalized AI coaching services and track your goals
- To analyze submitted evidence using AI models and verify mission completion
- To enforce the accountability system, including strike tracking
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, notifications)
- To process subscription payments and manage your billing
- To improve and debug the Service based on aggregated usage data
- To comply with legal obligations
3. AI and Third-Party Services
FACTUM relies on the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they process data.

When you submit evidence for AI analysis, content may be processed by Anthropic or OpenAI. We do not sell your data to these providers; they process it solely to deliver the requested analysis.
4. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Your data is retained while your account is active.
- Unverified accounts: Not confirmed within 24 hours are automatically deleted with all associated data.
- Deleted accounts: All personal data purged within 30 days of deletion request.
- Evidence files: Photos, screenshots, and audio deleted when you remove the goal or your account.
- Backup retention: Anonymized backups may be retained up to 90 days for disaster recovery.
5. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of your personal information.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Data export: Request an export of your data in a portable format.
- Cancellation: Cancel your subscription anytime from the app or your App Store settings.
- Opt-out: Opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and access controls. No system is 100% secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
7. Children's Privacy
FACTUM is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you via email or in-app notification for material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
